Minior Showers: Leonids 2026 Spoofing Guide — Nov 14-19 Spawn Times, Coordinates & Rooted Android Setup

Minior Showers Leonids spoofing is back on the menu for five nights straight, Nov 14-19, 2026, with a second shot at Minior after October’s Orionids debut. Boosted spawns and Stardust run 5-9pm local time each day, which is the window you need to plan your rooted Android sessions around. Here’s the actual schedule, mechanics and setup.

Quick answer

Minior Showers: Leonids 2026 runs from Saturday, November 14 at 5:00pm to Thursday, November 19 at 11:59pm local time, with increased Minior encounters and boosted Stardust from 5:00pm to 9:00pm every day of the event. Minior only appears in its Meteor Form during the event window and gives 1,000 Stardust per catch. For spoofing, the practical approach is setting your in-app clock for the evening window and jumping between time-zone-shifted coordinates to extend your catch time across multiple 5-9pm slots rather than just one.

What Is Minior Showers: Leonids 2026 Spoofing About

This is the second entry in Niantic’s new Minior Shower series, a set of six annual events tied to real meteor showers rather than fixed calendar dates. The Leonids event follows directly on from the Orionids debut in October, which introduced Minior’s Green Core. Minior Showers Leonids spoofing works the same way mechanically as Orionids did: the Pokémon only spawns in the wild during the event window and only in Meteor Form, so you’re not chasing a normal rotating spawn, you’re chasing a dated five-day pocket with a narrow daily bonus hour.

Minior Showers Leonids Event Schedule

The event starts Saturday, November 14, 2026 at 5:00pm local time and ends Thursday, November 19, 2026 at 11:59pm local time, confirmed on the official Pokémon GO news page. That gives you five full evenings to work with.

Inside that five-day window sits the actual bonus period: boosted Minior encounters and extra Stardust for catching it run from 5:00pm to 9:00pm local time each day, with shooting stars lighting up the in-game sky during that same four-hour stretch. Outside 5-9pm the shower is technically still running (you can still find Minior until 11:59pm), but your odds drop once the boosted window closes.

Minior’s Core Color This Time Around

Orionids debuted the Green Core Minior. As of now, Niantic hasn’t confirmed which of the remaining six core colors (Red, Orange, Yellow, Blue, Indigo, Violet) debuts during Leonids, and nothing official has leaked it either. If you’ve already got Green Core banked from October, treat this event as your chance at a second, different color rather than assuming it’s a repeat. Don’t trust random core-color predictions floating around Discord or Reddit threads, none of them have anything concrete behind them yet.

Spawn Mechanics and Battle Form Changes

Minior always spawns in Meteor Form during these events, which carries higher Defense and lower Attack. In battle, once its HP drops below 50% it changes form and exposes its core, flipping to higher Attack and lower Defense. Early on this form-switch is limited to specific battle types (Team GO Rocket encounters, team leader battles, and similar structured fights), not standard wild catches. Catching Minior in the wild nets you 1,000 Stardust per capture, on top of the event-wide Stardust bonus, so stacking catches inside the 5-9pm window is where the actual Stardust farming value sits.

Vital Security Step: Hide Your IP

Spoofing your GPS without hiding your IP is a red flag to Niantic’s anti-cheat system – if your GPS says one location and your IP says another, you risk detection. We use Surfshark VPN because its GPS-override feature matches your IP to your spoofed location automatically.

Hide My Location (82% Off)

Timed Research and Stardust Totals

During the Orionids run, Niantic attached a free Timed Research line worth roughly 77,400 Stardust plus a Star Piece, with a small chance at a separate Bonus Research task worth up to 1,000,000 Stardust for randomly selected trainers. Leek Duck hasn’t published the Leonids Timed Research task list at the time of writing, so don’t assume identical numbers, check in-game once the event goes live rather than planning around last month’s figures.

Minior Showers Leonids Spoofing: Coordinate Strategy

Because spawns are boosted 5pm-9pm local time and the event runs 5 straight days, time-zone jumping is the obvious lever here. A rooted phone running a spoofing app lets you set your GPS to a location sitting in its own 5-9pm window, farm that, then jump west (or east) to a second location just entering its bonus hour.

Four or five time-zone hops a day realistically gets you multiple separate 5-9pm windows instead of one. Dense urban coordinate sets you’d already use for other November
